Handmade pizazz with a little chutzpah.

These handmade beaded zipper pulls are a sweet little way to zhoosh up your stitching bag, project pouch, tote, keyring, or favorite “I swear there’s a needle in here somewhere” craft bag. Each one is hand-beaded with a mix of soft blue, aqua green, white, and silver-toned Hamsa beads - understated, chic, and very charming 🤭

Choose from two styles:

  1. Shlomo Dreidel Charm — our tiny blue stitchy dreidel friend, full of personality and absolutely convinced he is the star of this website.
  2. Hamsa Charms Only — a pretty, more subdued vibe featuring aqua green, black hematite beads, and two silver-toned hamsa charms (and no Shlomo).

Each zipper pull measures approximately 5 inches long and clips easily onto bags, pouches, zipper tabs, scissors, keyrings, or anywhere that could use a little handmade bling.

These make lovely little gifts for stitchers, crafters, Judaica lovers, project bag swaps, or anyone who enjoys accessories with a little bit of meaning and a whole lot of chutzpah.

Nu, the details?

🧵 What is Shalom Needlecraft?

  • This is a cozy, safe space dedicated to peaceful stitching.
  • While I personally encourage all sorts of relaxing hobbies, this space is dedicated to handmade needlecraft items, unique cross-stitch patterns, nifty tools, and cute accessories.

🧵 Do I need to be an expert-level stitcher to shop here?

  • Not at all! The vast majority of my patterns include full cross-stitches and simple backstitch only and are therefore very beginner friendly!
  • You will also notice that I provide the recommended stitching level (beginner / all - intermediate - advanced - expert) on all my patterns as a guideline. However, if you are still unsure, feel free to Contact me.
  • If you are interested to get a preview into what the digital patterns look like, click here to see actual examples.

🧵 Do you only sell Jewish-themed designs?

  • Nope! While Judaica is certainly the heart of my shop, you will also find pop-culture, more modern, and just-plain-funny patterns as well. Think of me as a popular bagel shop that also serves up a decadent apple pie occasionally. One could say that I have experienced a full and well-rounded life!

🧵 Can I sell the items I make from your patterns?

  • Yes. Finished pieces that you have hand-stitched from the exact pattern you have purchased from me may be sold in small quantities. If you’re planning a larger production run, please reach out first.
  • However, Shalom Needlecraft patterns and designs are copyright protected and may not be redistributed, reproduced, altered, or shared in any manner.
  • You do not have my implicit or explicit permission to machine-embroider any of my work.
  • When sharing your finished work on social media, please always remember to credit me (@Shalom Needlecraft) and provide a reference to this website.
  • Please understand, these designs are created with a lot of heart (and many late-night floss decisions), so protecting the pattern files helps me keep creating more meaningful patterns for you to stitch.

🧵 What if I have more questions?

  • Please first take a quick peek at the comprehensive FAQ page — it’s a great place to start.
  • Otherwise, please don't schvitz! Send me a message through the Contact me form and I'll be glad to help you out.
