Shipping policy

I want your stitching goodies to arrive safe, sound, and ready for your next creative project. Please read through all the details below.

 

Processing & delivery times:

  • All in-stock orders are typically processed and shipped out within 1 - 3 business days.
  • For items that are in-stock, typical delivery times in the U.S. usually range between 3 - 8 business days (depending on the service selected and the carrier).
  • If you require upgraded / expedited shipping services, please let me know prior to placing your order and I will see what I can do.
  • For items that are pre-ordered, typical delivery times can range from approximately 3 -  6 weeks. Please plan accordingly and order early.
  • Made-to-order products (such as my selection of baby one-piece outfits) are fulfilled by my production partner, Printful. These items are shipped out separately either from Dallas, Texas or from Charlotte, North Carolina. Processing times for these orders are typically between 3 - 7 business days followed by standard shipping times that you will select when you finalize your order. You will receive a tracking number via email.
  • All other orders are shipped out by me personally from my studio in California. You'll receive a tracking number once your order is on its way.
  • Please note that processing & shipping times may be slightly longer during busy holiday periods and/or new product launches.

 

Shipping:

  • Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on weight and shipping destination. Packages are not insured for damage or loss.
  • Once an order has shipped, delivery times are determined by the carrier. I am not responsible for shipping delays, weather, errors on the postal carrier's end, Undeliverable-as-Addressed (UAA) mail, or returned mail or packages. But I will always do my best to help if something goes awry.
  • Packages will be delivered to the specified address in the order (without modifications). Therefore, please always double-check that your address is entered correctly upon placing your order.
  • Once a package is marked "delivered" by the carrier, I am unable to replace or refund missing packages. If you did not receive the package, please work directly with your postal carrier to lodge a claim. I am happy to provide any additional details to you and help you navigate the claims process if needed.
  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs if they decide to return the product within the 7 day returns window (see Return Policy).
  • Orders cannot be cancelled once they are processed for shipment.
  • Pre-orders and items that are made-to-order are custom creations made just for you and therefore cannot be cancelled or returned.

 

International orders:

  • Buyers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or handling fees charged by their country. These fees are not included in the item price or shipping cost.
  • International shipping takes much longer than domestic shipping. Moreover, Shalom Needlecraft is not responsible for delays caused by customs.
  • Orders shipped to Israel may be subject to 17% VAT upon import. This is normal and expected, and is collected by Israeli customs.
  • Due to the cost and complexity of International shipping, I am unable to accept returns or exchanges on international orders.

 

 

Pre-orders:

  • When you place a pre-order, you are purchasing / reserving an out-of-stock or soon-to-be-available product that is not yet in inventory. Therefore, your product will only be delivered at a later stage (much later than the usual delivery expectations).
  • Full payment is required at the time of pre-order to secure your item.
  • Estimated arrival and shipping timelines will be noted on each pre-order product listing. But please keep in mind that these are estimates and are subject to change due to supplier or shipping delays. If there are any issues / delays on the supplier's side, I will communicate with you right away. If an order cannot be fulfilled, a full refund will be issues ASAP.
  • If your order includes both in-stock and pre-order items, the entire order will ship together once all the items are available (unless otherwise noted).
  • Because pre-orders are reserved specifically for you, pre-orders are considered to be final sale and cannot be canceled or refunded once placed.
